Civic University October 18, 20, 25, 2017
With the passage of Measures H and HHH in the City and County of Los Angeles, the Mayors Office launched a Days of Compassion Campaign throughout the city. Now the Mayor’s Office of Public Engagement is excited to announce the next iteration of the Days of Compassion Initiative, the Days of Compassion: Civic University.
Civic University is a 3-day training session is to provide congregants, lay leaders, clergy and advocates within the faith community focused on providing comprehensive engagement, resources and education to participants to develop a strong foundation for homeless ministries in partnership.
Wednesday October 18, 2017: 6:30-8:30pm “Homelessness 101”
Friday October 20, 2017: 10am-12pm “Site Visits”
Wednesday October 25, 2017: 6:30-8:30pm “Plan Your Church’s Action”
