As you know, this job is and can be rewarding. You meet many new people and make new friends. There are only three coordinating team meetings and no more than three Gatherings a year plus your expenses are paid to be our PWP’s delegate to the business meeting at the Churchwide Gathering. You will also represent Presbyterian Women on Presbytery of the Pacific’s General Mission Council. Please prayerfully consider taking this position. Do as God will have you do.
I hope to see all of you at my last Gathering as your Moderator June 6, 2015 at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Members of Presbytery of the Pacific’s New Orleans Dream Team will share their experiences in rebuilding homes and lives ten years after Hurricane Katrina. The registration flyer is on page 3.
Also in June is the PW Churchwide Gathering in Minneapolis. This event is awesome as you will fellowship with women from all over the United States as well as some countries. The thrill of joining God’s Spirit is truly AWESOME! There will be crafts and workshops in which mission is the key. It’s not too late to send in your application. The Churchwide Gathering is an experience you’ll never forget. I look forward to doing what God leads me to do in the coming years.
