Mitchell/Tufts Scholarship Opportunity

The Mitchell/Tufts Scholarship opportunity for Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) students is in its tenth year. The goal of the Mitchell/Tufts Scholarship is to make a college degree or vocational certification possible for members or persons active in the life of a Presbyterian church in PCUSA in Los Angeles and surrounding communities for students of promise who can demonstrate financial need.

Applications opened on Thursday, February 1st, and the deadline to submit an application is Sunday, April 14th.

Applications will be accepted online.

  2. Click Create New Account.
  3. Once logged in, click APPLY on the navigation bar on the Applicant Dashboard.
  4. Click the blue APPLY button next to the Mitchell/Tufts Scholarship- CA application description to begin the application. 
  5. Incomplete applications will NOT be considered for a scholarship. 

Applicants can work on their application at their leisure, save it, and come back to it at a later date. All applications must be submitted no later than April 14, 2024, at midnight CST, as the online application will close at that time.
